Justice for Karen

We need to send a really strong message to Daniel Andrews and his Government that it is time to get tough on violent criminals.

The lenient sentence handed down to Karen Belej’s killer is appalling and new laws should be drafted to introduce mandatory minimum sentences to such violent criminals.

Peter Crisp has launched a petition calling for justice for Karen, including appealing to the Director of Public Prosecutions to consider appealing her killer’s sentence.

The petition will be presented to Premier Daniel Andrews and also to the Office of Public Prosecutions Victoria.

We need as many people as possible to sign this petition so we can achieve justice for Karen

We need to send a really strong message to Daniel Andrews and his Government that it is time to get tough on violent criminals.

To the Premier Daniel Andrews:

We, the undersigned, request for the Director of Public Prosecution to appeal Brandon Osborn’s lenient sentence in the interest of justice for Karen Belej.

We ask you to note that the people of Victoria are dismayed by lenient sentences handed out to violent criminals.

Further, the petitioners call on the Andrews Labor Government to introduce mandatory minimum sentences for violent criminals.
