Peter Crisp brings with him a broad knowledge of the area and of issues facing residents.

Peter Crisp's community involvement is extensive. His roles have included:

Wentworth Shire Councillor
Regional hospital Board Member
Vice President and Treasurer of the Victorian Farmers Federation Horticultural Council
Save the Food Bowl Alliance Chairman
Chairman of the Sunraysia Citrus Growers
Member of the Sunraysia Horticultural Alliance

	Work to boost funding for the provision of hospital services to the community, which recognises the additional costs associated with providing healthcare in a growing regional area
	Provide adequate care for the elderly
	Work to ensure the railway line is upgraded and standardised to meet the future transport needs of the electorate
	Work for a better deal for agriculture and work towards reducing bureaucratic red tape that hinders producers and the business community
	Ensure ongoing security for water, our most vital of resources in the Mildura electorate

Peter Crisp and Education

Education is the foundation for both a strong individual and the community's future. I have had experience as a school council president and have served as a member of a University Council.

I believe the following aspects of education need to be supported in the best interests of both young adults and existing trade areas.

Push for better incentives for training apprentices in the trades
Improve opportunities for young people by supporting technical education
Support workforce participation initiatives
